This fee covers the study program and social activities (April 26-May 9, 2026) at the University of Strathclyde. The fee for the study program includes:
1. Hotel accommodations from April 26 to May 9, 2026
2. Programme:
• Welcome dinner and farewell lunch
• Welcome orientation session
• Laboratory health & safety session
• Facilities tour
• Lectures delivered on-site or on local external visits by staff and practitioners
• Full days of in-laboratory forensic chemistry practice with short theoretical topic introductions
• Full days of in-laboratory forensic biology practice with short theoretical topic introductions
• Crime scene exercise with theoretical topic introduction
• Crime scene exercise laboratory analysis
• Mock court testimonies related to the crime scene exercise
• Two-day sightseeing bus tickets
Payment Options:
The total fee for the trip is $3,800. The fee is due in three installments or one full payment:
- Deposit: $1,500 due by February 6, 2026
- Second installment: $1,150 due by March 6, 2026
- Third installment: $1,150 due by April 6, 2026
Students must contact Stacey Lavery and Chris Houser by April 20, 2026, to withdraw from the trip. Refunds will be processed once the course has been dropped.
