The Waterloo Eye Institute (WEI) Fall Conference & Trade Show is a multi-day continuing education event for optometrists and optometric staff, taking place November 6-8, 2026 in Markham, Ontario at the Hilton Markham Suites & Conference Centre.

Registration options include up to 20 hours of COPE-accredited continuing education lectures and access to the trade show for Optometrists. Please include your OE Tracker # in the "Additional Notes" section, if applicable.

Early Bird registration ends on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

The Optometric Staff Program is designed for optometric assistants, ophthalmic technicians, office managers and front desk staff, and is offered as part of the Waterloo Eye Institute (WEI) Fall Conference and Trade Show. Registration includes 6 hours of CCOA continuing education and access to the trade show. 

• The Group Rate for the Optometric Staff Program applies when two or more staff from the same office or clinic register, and offers a $25 per person savings. Each participant must register separately (one attendee per form). Please include your office or clinic name in the "Additional Notes" section to confirm eligibility.

If you are a UWaterloo employee or student and your department will be covering your event registration fees, please contact  School of Optometry Continuing Education to complete your registration. Please note that expense reimbursement claims for this conference registration are not permitted, except for FPER‑related reimbursements.

Refund policy: The registration fee, less a $25 service charge, will be refunded if cancellation request is received by email at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the event (October 23, 2026).
