Join us for a 1.5-day interactive symposium from Monday, October 7 to Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at the University of Waterloo, Federation Hall, to discuss what researchers and institutions need to consider as we balance open access and safeguarding research. Additional information can be found on the conference website.

University of Waterloo faculty and staff should reach out to Cat Reyes at cat.reyes@uwaterloo.ca to register for the event. Faculty members who wish to use their Faculty Professional Expense Reimbursement (FPER) allowance may register through this Shopify page. For those not using this option, please ensure you have a work order (XXXXX-XXXXX) and activity code (XXX) ready for the internal transaction.

Request for refunds will be accepted until September 27, 2024 in writing to researchoffice@uwaterloo.ca. Following this date, refunds will only be considered on a case-by-case basis. In the event that you are unable to attend the event and would like to transfer your registration to a delegate, you may do so by contacting the organizers in writing.
