The Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science is delighted to announce that it is hosting a conference to celebrate the remarkable contributions of Gord Willmot to the field of Actuarial Science. An exciting program of speakers has been lined up to celebrate Gord’s upcoming retirement. The 1.5-day conference will feature talks by leading researchers including collaborators, friends and former students of Gord to celebrate this important milestone for the Department.

The conference will be held on July 5-6, 2024 at the University of Waterloo. A banquet will be held on the evening of July 5th, 2024.

Refunds will be available until June 1, 2024. After this date, refunds are at the discretion of the conference organizing committee.
